Space Microscopy

2025

video, 2,46’
sound: Scanner – Robin Rimbaud

Video Space Microscopy explores how we see and experience space and matter. By interweaving video recordings of the gallery space with microscopic images of materials present in the space/ of built environements—such as aluminum, concrete, steel, and glass—and 3D simulations, the work transforms microstructural topographies into abstract landscapes. It reflects on the idea of matter as a dynamic, vibrant, and unstable phenomenon, challenging the boundaries between visible and invisible, real and simulated. The video invites viewers to think about liminal zones of perception, where the tangible and intangible aspects of space and matter converge.
